Task, context, shape
Most great prompts have three ingredients.
- Task: what you want done. “Plan a weeknight dinner menu.”
- Context: what it needs to know. “Family of four, one vegetarian, 30 minutes max.”
- Shape: how the answer should look. “A table with meal, prep time, and a shopping list.”
