Most software follows rules a person wrote by hand: if this happens, do that.
AI works differently. Instead of writing every rule, people show a computer millions of examples and let it find the patterns itself.
Show it enough photos labeled “cat” and it learns what cats tend to look like. Nobody had to write down “pointy ears, whiskers.”
